Liberty Program

MWR’s Liberty Program specializes in government-subsidized travel and adventures for single or unaccompanied military members.   Liberty organizes on-base activities, like bowling nights, BBQs, “how to” classes,tournaments, day trips around the island and weekend excursions. Liberty also occasionally does extended trips throughout Europe, to include festivals, concerts, and more.

Free Internet Access and computers are available in our Liberty Rec Centers!

Activities:
Video Games – Our Liberty Centers have PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii for your gaming enjoyment. We also have a variety of video games and specialty games like MW3, Madden, and Guitar Hero.

Movies – The opportunities are endless! Our movie rooms loaded loaded with a big screen TVs, surround sound stereo system and comfy leather recliners. Pick from over 500 movies…and the best part, it’s all free!

Trips – Let Liberty take your journey all over Italy and beyond! Liberty provides a variety of trips to dozens of destinations. You can take a day trip to Siracusa for some ATV fun, or make it a weekend excursion to world-famous places like Malta and Rome for a fraction of the price.

Events – The Liberty Program hosts a variety of events to get the single military out-and-about on base. One example is Friday Night Dinners where we go out to local restaurants for a taste of something new!

Leisure time – The Liberty Centers have pool tables, a ping pong table and plenty of places to crash and relax with your friends. Armed Forces Network satellite channels play on the TVs in the facility so you can catch a show or the news.
